Vintage Super Heavyweight Solid 14k Yellow Gold Classic Rope Chain Necklace (22”)

By far the biggest and best rope chain necklace I have ever had the privilege of owning. This piece hits all the desired checkmarks. Crafted sometime from the 1950’s to late 70’s this is the definition of a “dookie” rope chain in immaculate near perfect condition. Made up of a buttery and vibrant solid 14k yellow gold this classic style rope necklace is very heavy and thick weighing 67.6g and measuring approximately 5.5mm thick and 22” in length. With extra added security involved for a chain of this stature it is equipped with a double locking over the top smooth transitional box lock. As you see in the pictures you place the female end of the bar in one of two slots and close down two separate latches over the top. With this style clasp you won’t have to worry about any added extra force yanking this necklace off or losing this piece if you ever get involved in rowdy play. So thick and heavy this necklace could probably tow a car, it’s that hefty. Not only is this a great piece of fashionable jewelry at just the right size and price but it’s a sizable investment that will only continue to grow in value.
