Vintage Solid Sterling/.925 Tiffany And Co. Textured Curb Link Bracelet (7.5”)

This is by far the coolest curb link bracelet I think I’ve ever felt and had. The solid heavyweight textured links appearing like those of snake skin made extremely well by French artisans this bracelet is a work of art. With what is referred to as an infinity style clasp this technically has no additional locking mechanism added to it. There is a cutout on the end link followed by and figure 8 hinge latch on the opposite end which connects to each other and locks it in place. With French hallmarks that I can’t really seem to make out on the cutout part of the link and then the tiffany and co. Hallmark on the opposite side (pictures #8 and #9) the story that I got from this particular bracelet goes like this…A 92 year old ex employee of Tiffany and co. Passed away in 2018. Everything was passed down to her daughter including a plethora of jewelry including this piece. This piece was supposedly made specifically for her, it was not a production run, and that she was never allowed to sell it or any other piece given to her while working for the company (company rules). Once she died and her daughter inherited everything she ended up selling some of the pieces to a jeweler that I work with from time to time. That jeweler got quite a few pieces from the daughter and sold them but this curb link she locked away for the last 5 years as it was the most special piece of the lot and she just recently decided to part with it. Tiffany and co. Did have offices in France and was known to contact a lot of work out to other jewelers so the French hallmarks make perfect sense for a piece like this and the quality is truly as best as you can get. It’s heavy weighing in at just under 66g and it’s 7.5” long by 13mm x 7mm thick and wide. It’s a commanding presence on the arm and I think I’m underselling it at this price for it being this special.
