Vintage Solid 18k Yellow Gold Handcrafted Heavyweight Cuban Curb Link Necklace (15.5”)

This old school style Cuban curb link chain is a complete tank. Meticulously handcrafted sometime around the 1960’s/70’s out of a solid and super heavyweight 18k yellow gold. Straight as an arrow when held up parallel in the air the goldsmith who made this chain knew exactly what they were doing as to give a perfect flat lay around the neckline. Equipped with hidden style box lock inside the curb links with large gripped push button it has a heavy duty double sided safety latch on each opposite side of the links allowing for extra security. Weighing in at an astounding 86.7g this is nothing to play around with as it’s a thick and chunky 7.5mm x 3mm with a wearable length of 15.5” that will sit up nice and high above the collarbone for those with a skinnier neck. These pieces don’t come up on the market often and they don’t make them in this rounded boxy style with super tight links like this one has anymore. A piece of the past that will be cherished.
