Pilot Mountain turquoise typically features deep, "grassroots" teal-blue tones paired with a very distinct dark brown, black, or reddish-brown matrix. This large slab has been meticulously flattop sawtooth bezel set in solid 14k yellow gold and handcrafted in this uniquely cut oval pendant signed by renowned Navajo goldsmith’s Leonard and Marian Nez. With an extra large bail opening measuring approximately 16mm x 14mm fitting for an oversized necklace the entire pendant measures about 2.25” long and weighs in at heavyweight of 14.4g
