1970’s Super Heavyweight Solid 14k Yellow Gold Chunky Chaine D’ Ancre Mariner Link Bracelet (9.5”)

The hottest selling, hardest to find, and one of my personal favorite links; the infamous Chaine d’ Ancre Mariner link bracelet. This particular piece is based off of the massive chains anchoring the large vessels in the shipyards. A very strong link with lateral center support this heavy duty industrial style gives it that tough and raw look while still keeping its class and elegance. Crafted of a super heavyweight solid 14k yellow gold the bracelet is a beast at 9.5” in wearable length with each link measuring 11mm wide by 19mm long and 82.4g. As it sits it’s made for a large size wrist but can be sized down to any length for anybody with a smaller wrist (my wrist being shown in pictures is a smaller size wrist at 6.5”).This piece was all custom made sometime around the 1970’s/80’s and features the famous “Menottes” large handcuff style clasps made famous by Cartier head designer from the 1960’s-70’s Jean Dinh Van. You can search years and still never find a piece from the past like this that all top designers are trying to recreate in today’s world.
