Vintage Sold 14k Yellow Gold Heavyweight Classic Byzantine Link Necklace (19”)

In my opinion this is one of the best necklaces I have available site wide. It hits all the checkmarks and is one of my most sought after link styles when I’m sourcing my inventory. The Byzantine link is the hardest and least cost effective link for any jeweler to make and one that is not often made anymore because of this. Due to this fact you don’t see them unless looking at older estate jewelry and when you find them and they have higher premiums than any other link style. This piece was crafted out of all solid 14k yellow gold some time around the 1990’s with Italian hallmarkings and strong lobster clasp. At an unusually hard to find middle of the road size at 19” long with a thick circumference at 4mm x 4mm and weighing in at a heavyweight of just under 52g. With a very buttery yellow gold tone the high mirror polish finish gives that added flash of sunlight and glow to the necklace as it bounces of its classic rounded edges. This one stands the test of time, is in excellent condition now and will continue to stay in excellent condition as you pass it down from family member to family member and watch it grow in value exponentially.
