Georgian Era Solid 18k Yellow Gold Natural Rose Cut Diamond And Emerald Enamel Gothic Cross

A true museum piece and exquisite work of art to think this was crafted almost 200 years ago in the regency period of the Georgian era with only hand tools and years of skill is amazing to ponder. Made in 3 pieces of vibrant 18k yellow gold and painstakingly set one onto another in 3 tiers starting with the base cross that was glazed over with fire enamel blue. The second layer being the ribbons of vine protruding out giving off that old gothic appearance and finally set on top is the most important part, the floral motif of all natural rose cut diamonds and emerald. It goes without saying this isn’t a common piece and one you could travel the world to find and still come up short. Quite dense and large at 9.73g measuring approximately 2.5” tall by 1.5” wide this is a piece of jewelry to pass down for generations to come.
