Victorian Solid 18k Yellow Gold/Platinum Large Medieval Burgonet Helmet Locket Pendant

Pure badass…crafted by hand sometime around the late 1800’s out of a solid and heavyweight 18k vibrant yellow gold this is not your ordinary Victorian locket. The front bears a medieval “Burgonet” style knights helmet crafted out of platinum as the back features what appears to be the letters “FC” also crafted out of solid platinum. Air tight, this locket snaps shut perfectly and doesn’t let any liquid in (as I tested this out while lightly cleaning it with soap and water). The inside encasement features a perfect fitting shell that can enclose anything you want within as this was not just a picture locket but a memento keepsake enclosure. Extremely well built, unlike any locket I’ve ever held, as it weighs a staggering 22.1g and measures 1.75” x 1” x .5” with large and thick circular bail. This piece has no hallmarkings anywhere that I can find as many early handcrafted pieces like so we’re not and with that being said the purity was all tested by XRF machine.
