Victorian Era Solid 14k Yellow Gold .50Ct Natural Old Euro Cut Diamond Lion Ring (7.5)

By far the most vicious looking lion ring I’ve ever encountered. Crafted out of solid 14k yellow gold sometime around the late 1800’s to early 1900’s this ring has 9 lives to tell and many more to live and give. As it appears to have been through what seems to be wars and nightmares with a “scar” over his right eye and going down his cheek this ring isn’t plain Jane, it has so much added character and grit so if you’re looking for a ring that’s new and pretty and in perfect condition this IS NOT the ring for you seeing as it’s been worn and thrived over 100 years. With 3 natural diamonds encrusted throughout, the main center stone clenched in the lion’s mouth is a .50ct natural old euro cut measuring 5mm. Chunky and clean with sharp faceted cuts you can’t tell at all when wearing it or looking at it with the plain eye but under the magnifying loupe there is small chip on the side. To me it’s something that isn’t even worth mentioning as it doesn’t take away from the ring but in my opinion actually adds more value to the piece giving it that natural grimy look that we all seek out in certain style rings like this one. If you were to watch the movie “The Lion King” some like Simba, some root for Mufasa, then there are some who have a dark yet powerful fascination with Scar and this ring reminds me of Scar. Battle Hardened and War ready with its shoulders straight back and walking with pride when you see this one in person and put it on your finger you’ll truly feel what I mean when I explain this.
