Vintage Designer Made Solid 18k Yellow Gold Heavyweight Drive Chain Link Necklace (22”)

By far the best necklace I’ve ever came across and had in my possession since I’ve started as a jeweler. I’ve never seen a necklace crafted with this much quality and attention to detail down to every little facet. This is the reason that it took me over a year and a half to finally be able to purchase it off of another jewelers neck as he never wanted to sell it. With gold being at an all time high and him needing a few extra dollars to put towards a new vehicle he finally offered to sell it to me. Mocking a bicycle or motorcycle chain, each link was hand crafted together out of solid 18k vibrant yellow gold to resemble a motors chain drive as well as put together the same way down to each pinion. The lobster clasp isn’t just any average, it’s in the form of a swan, it doesn’t get much cooler than that. Though the necklace is all solid and heavyweight it’s extremely comfortable and lays nice and flat on the neck and collarbone but also has a secondary security Cuban link safety chain just in case for that extra peace of mind. Hallmarked throughout on a couple different links with .750 each of those links measure approximately 5mm x 4mm with the entire necklace weighing in at a whopping hefty weight of 48.9g at an elusively hard to find 22” in length (perfect size for most people that’s not too long and not too short). When you have a custom designer one of a kind piece like this that has this much gold weight to it you’re not only keeping an asset of a premium piece of jewelry but also an investment that is continuously growing in value. Most luxury items are what most financial advisors would consider “a waste of money” but this is one of those very few opposite occasions. I won’t ever find another one quite like this and I’m sure you will not either. On the off chance that you do I can assure you it won’t be priced this well.
