Introduced to the world by renowned French luxury jewelers Van Cleef And Arpels in the 1930’s was the “Ludo” bracelet. The "ludo” consisted of the tessellated honeycomb links set with diamond starburst pattern just as you see here. It became so popular that other luxury brands, such as Boucheron Paris, started to take notice as well and also started to put out that style. With no hallmarkings visible on this bracelet it’s hard to tell which maker actually made this bracelet but from the research I have done I can’t find any other bracelets like it on the market besides the two luxury jewelers mentioned above. This beautiful piece tests out at 18k rose gold in a shiny high polished mirror finish. With 25 natural diamonds of approximately .04ct each this piece totals up to around 1.0ctw with a fitting length of 7” by 9.5mm wide and a hefty weight of 28.7g. This is the first bracelet like this that I’ve ever seen and I’m sure I won’t find another.
