Retro 1940’s 14k Gold .50ct Natural Euro Cut Diamond .60ctw Ruby Tank Ring (9)

Circa 1940’s this is a true work of art. All hand crafted out of 14k rose gold and 18k white gold consisting of one big .50ct natural euro cut diamond (picture #15) of a very clean Si quality and K color located in the center with half of a whirlwind surrounding it of .20ctw natural round brilliant cut diamonds. Prong set just above that are approximately .60ctw of beautifully colored reddish pink rubies. On the mandrel this ring is a size:7.5 but if you look in picture #18 there is quite a bit of room left on the sides of the ring which would give this a true size of a bout a 9. My left index finger is a size:9 and this ring fits on it very comfortably. Weighing in at 8.4g a ring like this always fetches over $1000 on any jewelery resale market. These Tank rings are very sought after due to their artsy look and the stories behind them. A true piece from a bygone era.
