Mid-Century 14k Hand Tooled Heavyweight Large Lion Pendant (51g)

Made nothing like the computer generated custom gold pendants of today. This solid and heavyweight 14k yellow gold piece was all hand tooled after an original mold was poured to give an artists personal rendition on a fierce looking male Lion. With emerald encrusted eyes and a black star sapphire clenched in its jaws giving off that “king of the jungle” look. This pendant is a real monster weighing in at just under 51g of solid gold and measuring approximately 3” x 2” x 1” with a medium sized bail of around 7mm x 4mm. The man I bought this from was in his late 70’s and he said it was his mother in laws who he remembers having it from as long back as when he first married his wife (her daughter) in around the 1960’s. He told me that she had it long before that and believes it to be from the 1940’s. You’re getting a really good deal for this piece even at $2800.
