Late 1970’s/Early 1980’s Piaget Solid 18k Yellow Gold Factory Diamond Bezel Falcons Eye Stone Dial 9908 D11 Watch (7.5”)

First things first these pictures do absolutely no justice to how much better this watch looks and feels in person. It’s very hard to capture how amazing the condition is, how elegant the gold and diamonds sparkle and glow, and the beautiful blue tones that the dial gives off in different angles of light and shade. Extremely rare and the only one on the entire internet at the time of listing, this Piaget Model 9908 D11 was purchased sometime in the late 1970’s to early 1980’s and as you can see looks to have hardly ever been worn. Crafted entirely out of solid 18k yellow gold factory set with approximately 2.0ctw natural VS clarity diamond bezel. Around this time Piaget was the only watch maker who produced all of their own parts and materials in house leading them to be the front runners in no limitations and the best stone dials of that time. Equipped with a “falcons eye” stone dial which is the more rare and sought after blue cousin to the brown “tigers eye” stone and an amazingly hand crafted woven chain mail link style bracelet. Measuring end to end at a wearable 7.5” in length the case is 23mm or 25mm including the crown with an insurmountable amount of gold the entire watch weighs 75g.
