Circa 1940’s Italian Designer 18k Yellow Gold Snake Necklace (20.5”)

Handcrafted with the old Italian quality sometime around the 1940’s in Vicenza, Italy by Costanzelli Roberto & Figli out of a vibrant 18k yellow gold. Typical of the 1940’s/50’s retro era the snake motif necklace suffocates the neck ever so comfortably with its rounded body as it lays perfectly on the neck and collarbone. The mouth and jaws are spring loaded as it clasps to any part of its body with the sharp razor like teeth delicately yet securely clutching it in place as it stares fiercely with garnet encrusted eyes. Measuring 20.5” in total length it can be securely clasped at any part of the necklace whether wanting a tighter hold around the neck or a looser draped look. It has a thick and chunky body of 9.5mm x 5mm and a heavyweight of 59.3g. One of the most rare and sought after pieces I’ve truly ever had this is museum quality history that you can’t find anywhere on the market right now. In absolute Incredible condition I’m hesitant to sell it because I know I will not see one ever again and if I do I won’t be able to replace it for even the price that I’m selling this one at.
