Circa 1940’s Italian Designer 18k Yellow Gold Flexible Mesh Heavyweight Snake Bracelet (6”-7.75”)

Handcrafted with the old Italian quality sometime around the 1940’s in Vicenza, Italy by Costanzelli Roberto & Figli out of a vibrant 18k yellow gold. Typical of the 1940’s/50’s retro era the flexible mesh style wrap around snake motif bracelet suffocates the wrist ever so comfortably with its rounded body as its head lays perfectly above the hand and tail grazes over the wrist bone. With piercing natural diamond eyes and measuring 8” in total length end to end (if rolled out flat) the expansion style wrap sits as it is unspread at about 6.5” in circumference (2” across by 2” up and down) making this a perfect fit for most any wrist size comfortably and securely from about 6”-7.75”. It has a thick and chunky body of 9mm x 5.5mm with the broad head at 13MM wide and a heavyweight of 42.4g. One of the most rare and sought after pieces when it comes to all snake motif jewelry this is museum quality history that you can’t find anywhere on the market right now especially at a price point like this. In great condition throughout its entirety, with stiff and maneuverable articulation it seems as if this bracelet was hardly worn. With that being said on the underside of the head (shown in picture #23) there is some minor denting. Though this doesn’t effect the look of the outside, the overall function, nor can you tell while it’s being worn I have dramatically reduced the price because of this and the price you’re paying does reflect this so called “flaw”. At nearly 100 years old antique jewelry of this kind is far from ever pristine so please keep this in mind before purchasing if you’re someone who is used to brand new jewelry void of past wear as there are no returns or refunds. Now As most of you reading this are counterparts in the estate jewelry community don’t let  that minor wear effect your judgement though, I can assure you most of you won’t even realize it’s there.
