Art Nouveau Solid 14k Yellow Gold Sugar Loaf Sapphire Double Lion Ring (8.5)

This piece is absolutely insane, when I saw it my jaw dropped, but I had to hold in my excitement. Crafted sometime around the 1920’s art nouveau era out of a solid 14k yellow gold (xrf tested) it features 2 beautiful stalking lions on each side of its broad shoulders with their winding silhouette going down towards the bottom of the shank. Sharp teeth snarling and exposed with its Menacing claws clenched and gripping atop the slight scroll style band as it morphs into a fancy style chaised bezel featuring the highly sought after sugar loaf style cabochon blue sapphire that’s at least .50ct set inside. You know you have found a good piece when it has serial numbers inside and if you look at picture #26  that’s exactly what is left hidden inside the band. At a size:8.5 comfortable rounded fit weighing in at 10.2g with a width of 10.5mm take up on the finger this is the epitome of fierce, rare, and collectible.
