Art Nouveau Solid 14k Yellow Gold Mermaid Scroll Signet Ring (11)

Handcrafted sometime around the 1910’s-1930’s out of a solid and vibrant 14k yellow gold is a very hard style of ring to find. These were popular style signet rings of the time and usually had personalized monogrammed initials on the front and the better ones, like this one you see here, had cool figures of mythical creatures and animals on the side of the shanks. This one, as you see, has a detailed naked mermaid holding up the top signet part of the ring which is in the shape of a scroll and is even more of a rare find as this one has still been left blank with no personalized lettering done to it. With a super clean natural old euro cut diamond at approximately .10ct that’s been bezel set on the top part of the scroll and a commanding presence on the finger that takes up approximately 19mm x 20mm. A size:11 this is a very full, thick, and heavy ring at 14.1g yet has a comfortable and low profile look as you can see in picture #7. My ultimate favorite styles of rings to find I personally own and wear 3 of them on a daily basis as part of my jewelry box collection.
