Mid-Century 18k Italian Yellow Gold Natural Emerald And Diamond Treasure Chest Pendant

With old Italian hallmarks dating this piece to around the 1940’s-50’s from local Florence goldsmith Figli Di Vittorio Franconeri di lidia. This piece is truly amazing, based off the Etruscan revival style this piece is solid and handmade out of 18k yellow gold and it is bezel set with all natural diamonds and emeralds and functions just as if a treasure chest should with a top that opens and closes, there is even little handles on the side like old treasure chests would have. With nice and tight action you could place little articles of your treasures inside for safe keeping. A very rare and unique cool pendant that will be hard to find again. Weighing in at a hefty 10.7g and measuring approximately 1” x 1” it is just the right size of a pendant without being overwhelmingly too big or too small.
