Ancient Egyptian carved scarabs were beetle shaped artifacts used as amulets, jewelry, and seals symbolizing life, creation, and rebirth linked to the sun god. They represented the cycle of the sun and were believed to offer protection in life and ensure safe passage to the afterlife.
