1980’s Solid 14k Yellow Gold Heavyweight Beveled Edge Chain D’Ancre Mariner Link Necklace (23.5”)

I have been waiting a while to come up on a big heavyweight Chain D’Ancre link and I finally found one. Made famous by “Hermes”, the Parisian fashion house, this “Chain d’ancre” style is coveted for its elegant yet rugged look. Based off of a mariners chain that dock the huge boats in a shipyard this is the more spiced up variation as the links edges are beveled as opposed to the original rounded off style which leads them to glisten and taken in light at every angle sparkling like a finely cut diamond would. This is a chunky and heavyweight finely crafted 14k yellow gold piece of jewelry at 23.5” long and 6.5mm thick with a whopping weight of 40.32g. This chain is extremely heavy duty as it’s meant to be durable and stand the test of time as it’s also an investment into the ever growing gold market.
