1980’s New Old Stock Solid 18k Yellow Gold 1.95ctw Natural Colombian Emerald and VS Diamond Signet Ring (9)

In 1985 a jeweler out of Panama City,Fl went down to Columbia on a hunting trip. This trip was for a dual purpose, while out there he also sourced some of the finest Colombian emeralds and commissioned them to be made into high quality jewelry for his local store. This is one of the few pieces that miraculously is still available after all of those years and I was lucky enough to purchase. Crafted out of a solid 18k yellow gold and securely bezel set off to the side is a large Colombian emerald measuring approximately 1.75ct (7.5mm x 6mm x 5mm inside the setting). Perched off to the other side are 2 uniquely flush set natural Vs diamonds of approximately .20ctw. Both flat sides of the ring have an ornate engraving while the diamond set side has a double channel slope to it giving depth to an already fantastic style signet. Fitting a size:9 on the mandrel and weighing in at a heavy 12.9g with a wide stance on the finger at 11mm this a tough and edgy while elegant and beautiful looking piece for any style.
