1976 Designer Handcrafted Solid 14k Yellow Gold Lapis Inlaid Egyptian Ankh Pendant

Designer made out of a solid 14k yellow gold and handcrafted lapis stone inlaid in 1976, the year of the King Tut Exhibition. High end designers and jewelers far and wide had created pieces based off of this exhibit and another period of Egyptian revival was in full swing. Big and bold stones were used heavily in fashion by the couture brands and power houses of the modernist era and this is what reflects of that period. Very thick at 3mm, quite large at 2.25” top to bottom and 1.2” wide, with a heavy build of 12.4g the larger circular bail has an inside diameter of approximately 6mm.
