1970’s/80’s Semi-Solid 14k Yellow Gold Classic Puffed Gucci Link Necklace (26.5”)

I want to start this one off by saying that I’ve been after this necklace every single week for 3 years. When I first saw it and asked to buy it he of course said “no chance in hell”. Every week when I would see him at this event I’d always jokingly mention the chain. Out of the blue he randomly tells me one day “you ready to buy the chain” without a thought I said “of course”. The reason being is that first time I asked him about it 3 years ago he told me the family significance of it being his fathers and then was passed down to him. His Pops sounded like an old school gangster the way he explained his clothes, jewelry, and Cadillac Eldorado. Not only was it the story but the vibrant glow and perfect size classic chunky links of this weighty Italian puffed gucci link, which is one of my favorite links and always hard to find. This one is extremely well made as it is semi-solid weighing 31.1g a longer length at 26.5” and a chunky 7mm width by 4mm thick with beautiful 14k and Italian hallmarkings throughout. As you see in picture #6 it is still perfectly straight when held up to the droop test with every link still being meticulously kept with very little wear. Though worn almost everyday for years and years this one is in excellent shape with so much life left to live and more stories to build upon and then to be passed down to even more generations to come.
