1966 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref. 1503 Florentine Finish 14k Gold (7.5”/34mm)

Let’s bring it back to the old school with this masterpiece. The 14k yellow gold jubilee bracelet has been accented with a Florentine finish all done skillfully by hand and is currently fit to a 7.5” wrist. Reference #1503 this Rolex “Oyster Perpetual Date” model has a serial number of 1527xxx which brings the dating of this watch to circa 1966 while the case is accented with a gold fluted bezel and houses an automatic Cal. 1570 movement. Crafted fully out of 14k yellow gold the case measures 34mm (without crown) and weighs over 103g, while the lug width is 19mm. The sunburst Champagne dial has gold stick indices with minute markers running along the outer rim. A date indicator with Cyclops magnifier is located at 3 o'clock and glow in the dark luminous hands and hour marks. This watch is in what I would consider great shape especially for its age with little sag to the bracelet and comes with the original boxes all at a very low price well below market value. Will not be sad if this watch doesn’t sell as it’s extremely hard to find any Rolex especially a solid gold model like this for less than market retail value so if you’ve been looking for a Rolex of this caliber you won’t find one this nice for cheaper than this. Winds up and runs great and is ready to go and we’re around as soon as you get it. Just like any used Rolex it will need to be serviced at some point in the future but you should have to worry about that for a while. We all need to thank Bob (who’s first and last name is slightly still visibly engraved on the back of the case) for keeping this beautiful watch in such great shape over the years. Though you can still see how great of condition this is in the pictures I can assure you that it’s in even better condition to the naked eye when you hold it and see it in person.
