1960’s/70’s Large 14k Dookie Rope Chain

The hallmarks and patent dates on jewelry can tell you almost everything you need to know about a certain piece. With the box lock clasp showing the patent number of 3308517 it brings this giant solid 14k yellow gold rope chain production date to some time after the filing date which was 1967. So presumably this necklace was made in the the late 1960’s-70’s. This is a very large and heavy necklace for those wanting to show out but still keep it classy. Measuring 19” by 6.5MM and weighing in at a heavy 56g.
