Created by Chicago illustrator Paul Benson In his 1941 Risqué portfolio book titled Etchings! “Lady Luck” has taken on an identity all her own.Made infamous By WW2 Bomber planes to 50’s hot rod kulture she has seared the imaginations before the likes of Ed Roth’s “Rat Fink” And Von Dutch’s “Flying Eyeball” were even dreamt up. This original patch by Stylized Emblem Co. out of Los Angeles, Ca was made in the later part of the 1940’s to be emblazoned on car club jackets. If you notice there is 2 patches in this set. One is fully finished with the 3 color (black,red,beige) silk screening process and looks to have been worn. While the other is unfinished and brand new with only the 2 color (black,beige) screened onto it. This is a rare set for any vintage enthusiast. Patches measure approximately 11” x 5”
