The double Albert watch chain is characterized by having two equal lengths of chain attached to the T-bar. The original use for this wonderful piece back in 1922 when this chain was crafted was for one chain to hold the pocket watch, as the other was used to hold the watch key to wind the movement as the T-bar would then be affixed to the vest button hole and the center spring ring hanging next to it for fobs, charms, and talismans to bring out the character of the owner. You could tell a lot from a wearer just by their specific watch chain just like you could today by the different ways someone might wear or style their chains as well. Handcrafted out of a vibrant and buttery toned solid 14k yellow gold in 1922 this chain is in excellent condition with each piece of hardware being thicker, heavier, and larger than the average and in perfect working functioning order and tight spring back. Very versatile with numerous ways to wear this chain the T-bar(1.9” long) spring ring combo is fully stationary in the exact middle of the necklace allowing for a hanging drop to wear your pendants and charms. At a wearable length of 21.25” and the curb link style chain a thick 3mm wide with the entirety of the piece weighing 21.16g.
